Protesters say no to factory farming on Jan Smuts
HYDE PARK - Protesters took to the island at the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue and William Nicol Drive in Hyde Park on the morning of 4 July to express their unhappiness with factory farming practices.
Some of the placards read ‘Why eat me when you don’t have to?’ and ‘Hearts before appetites’.
