Taxi crash in Sandton, 11 injured
SANDTON - Two taxis had a head on collision near the Grayston offramp of the M1 highway on the morning of 3 June and 11 people were injured.
According to ER24, when paramedics arrived at the scene they found two wrecked taxis in the middle of the road.
A total of 11 people were injured in the accident, three are in a critical condition.
The driver of one of the taxis is also in a critical condition. He was found trapped inside the taxi.
Emergency services had to use the jaws of life to extract the man from his wrecked vehicle.
All the injured parties have been transported to hospital for further medical treatment.
