This according to reports on the Eblockwatch Facebook group, which stated that four people were allegedly involved in the robbery.
Additionally, information received from a passerby indicated that the incident took place along Blackford Road in the suburb and police were present at the scene.
Colonel Lungelo Dlamini, provincial police spokesperson, said that the police were not aware of the incident at this stage but would look into the matter and respond.
“We will certainly look into the incident and get back to you with the details,” he said.
