Another petrol price increase on the cards

JOBURG - The Department of Energy announced on 29 May that fuel prices are set to increase from 3 June.

According to the Department of Energy, the main reason for the hike is the high crude oil price which resulted in higher prices, on average, for all the petroleum products in the international markets in May compared to April.

  •  Petrol goes up by 47 cents per litre
  •  Diesel will increase by 46 and 49 cents per litre
  •  Illuminating paraffin will cost 56 cents per litre
  •  Liquified petroleum gas will rise by R1 per kilogram
