12 injured as taxi and car collide

SUNNINGHILL – A NUMBER of people were injured when a minibus taxi collided with a Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Witkoppen Road and Maxwell Drive on 26 May.

 

According to the Emer-G-Med Facebook page, five patients were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

Seven other victims were transported to other hospitals by various other EMS services.

The accident comes just a day after a horrific multi-vehicle accident happened on William Nicol Drive, in which one person was killed.

The Emer-G-Med spokesperson could not be reached for comment by the time of publication.
