Heart warming donation
WENDYWOOD - The babies at Hearts of Hope children’s home in Wendywood received a special gift when Masscash donated R5 000 worth of Econo Nappies on 17 April.

Hearts of Hope is an abandoned children’s home based in Wendywood, which had been operating since 2003 in an attempt to provide a safe haven through individual attention and intervention specific to each child’s physical, mental and emotional needs.
The home currently looks after 34 children between birth and 18 years old.
“Econo is a brand which is not only quality and affordable, but cares for its community. Teaming up with Hearts of Hope home is only something that Econo feels is natural,” said Nontokozo Shabangu, Econo Brand Manager at Masscash.
Director at Hearts of Hope Deborah van Dongen said, “I think the donation is absolutely wonderful. It will make a great impact. We go through almost 21 000 nappies in a year so there’s no stopping the little bottoms that need protection. So it’s just phenomenal and we are extremely grateful.”
