A group of about 400 protesters have gathered at the corner of Sandton and William Nicol Drives to show their support to the foreigners that are being targeted by the xenophobic attacks in the country.

The group of people are urging passing by motorists to hoot if they hate the xenophobic attacks taking place in SA.

They are also asking for donations from people so the money can go to the families of the victims of xenophobic attacks.

The group are working with the Gift of the Givers and will be moving throughout the Joburg North area.

They will remain at the corner of Sandton and William Nicol Drives until 12pm today.
