Body in boot case postponed

FOURWAYS - IOL reported that former stripper Maruschka Robinson and her co-accused boyfriend Jean-Pierre Malan appeared at the Palm Ridge Magistrates' Court on 13 April.

The pair were arrested for the murder of Dustan Blom after his decomposed body was discovered in the boot of his vehicle by security guards at Montecasino.

Court proceedings were delayed while the state and defence negotiated a plea agreement. Robinson’s plea agreement was declined due to a factual dispute between her legal team and the state team, according to prosecutor Zaais Van Zyl.

The trial is set to continue on 15 April.
