Bramley police host crime forum meetings

Pyper said it is in the community’s interest to work together with their forum and said sharing information helps to reduce crime.

“Those who employ security companies to look after them and their properties should make sure that their security companies are attending the weekly meetings with Bramley police every Wednesday at 10am. Exchange of information is extremely important,” said Pyper.

• The meeting for Sector 1, which includes suburbs Marlboro Gardens, Marlboro South and Wynberg Venue, will be held at the Marlboro Community Centre, Zinnia Drive, Marlboro Gardens at 6pm on 29 April. The sector manager is Warrant Officer Mogodi. Details: 078 342 0434.
• The Sector 2 meeting for suburbs Bramley North, Bramley, Raumarais Park, Savoy Estate, Gresswold, Bramley Gardens, Kew residential and Kew Industrial, will be held at the police house in Jeunesse Road behind Bramley Police Station at 6pm on 5 May. • Sector 3 which includes suburbs Sandown, Strathavon, Eastgate, Barlow Park, Atholl Gardens, Wierda Valley, Atholl, Glen Atholl, Atholhurst, Elton Hill, Winston Ridge and Birnam, will host the meeting at the Saxon Hotel, 36 Saxon Road, Sandhurst at 18.45pm on 28 April.
