SANDTON - As Johannesburg gears up for National Library Week, which will take place from 14 to 28 March, the City of Johannesburg Library and Information Services is declaring a fine-free period for overdue library books.
Chairperson of the Friends of the Sandton Library Keith Elliott said library users in all areas are urged to return all overdue books to the nearest library and will receive no fines.
Elliot concluded, “All Libraries would like as many overdue books as possible, to be returned during this period.”
