Adorable pets up for adoption

SANDTON - Some of Sandton SPCA's pets are in need of loving homes this week.

The organisation is appealing to community members to adopt a pet, but advises that adoption will involve a home inspection by the organisation.

Additionally, members will have to pay for vaccination, de-worming and sterilisation of the animal, which are all compulsory.

The SPCA is looking for homes for the following adorable pets:

  • Jinger, a two-year-old female terrier which was unwanted by his previous owners. Jinger is described as a very cute pet.
  • Garth is another pet in need of a loving home and he is a one-year-old male Labrador. Garth was a stray and is described as very friendly.
  • Liefie, a three-year-old female Jack Russell which was found as a stray. Liefie is described as a sociable pet.
  • Xavier is also looking for a home. Xavier is a male malamute, aged 5 which was found unwanted and loves people.
  • Last but not least, the SPCA is looking for homes for two cats, Molly and Roxet.

Molly is a female domestic short-haired torti, aged 18 months which was unwanted, while Roxet is a dark domestic medium-haired female tabby, aged five years which was also unwanted.
