Sandton resident DJ ready for 2015
SANDTON - Sandiso Muhlkhona Gebashe is a Sandton-based DJ and producer who is ready to take on his dreams in the new year.
He is set to release his new song this month. “I can’t say too much about it as yet, but it is in the pipeline and I’m excited about it,” said Gebashe. “For this year I’ll be promoting my music and playing at various events to get my name out there.”
He studied sound engineering and has always been a music lover. Gebashe started showing interest in the house music scene at high school. He later became a resident DJ at Cocoon, a club in Sandton. Gebashe has since been playing a various other clubs in the area such as Taboo, Metro Lounge and Sway.
In 2009 he released his first single, Oobayo (Original mix) and his second release was Sounds from the Caves (Original Mix). Gebashe later released his first musical recording, Oh yeah, featuring Infinix. The recording included remixes by Mpeshnyk and Future Tone Moon Perspective.
In 2011 he released his second recording, New Journey under a label in Canada called Cover Music.
In 2012 Gebashe produced a remix for Ocean Deep featuring MJ White, titled One Love. The song was featured in the Various Ocean Drive Session Vol 1 of the winter music conference in Miami.
