Bryanston pupils come out tops with matric results
SANDTON - Bryanston pupils did the school proud ahead of the release of their matric results. The school saw their top 20 students alone obtaining 119 distinctions, with top achiever Kiara O'Connell getting eight distinctions.

O’Connell, the school’s top achiever, received distinctions in English, Afrikaans, mathematics, physical science, life science, accounting, life orientation and advanced programme mathematics, an Independent Examinations Board registered subject in which she achieved 96 percent, the highest in the district.
“Bryanston High School is pleased with the fact that once again we have so many pupils performing at such a prestigious level. Pupils at Bryanston High School take pride in their academics and this is reflected by these achievements,” stated Lauren Streng, the school’s marketing coordinator.
Robynne Reid also impressed with six distinctions in Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Sciences, Geography, History and Life Orientation.
Chelsea Alexander, Stefan Minkov, Raheema Ravat, Tanyaradzwa Sigauke, Mohamed Irfan Seedat and Brendon Ndlovu are just some of the other top achievers that did the school proud when they received five distinctions each. This year thirteen other pupils obtained four distinctions each.
A total of 155 pupils from the high school wrote the 2014 final exams.
