Field and Study end off the year

The 18 pensioners from the school were brought by Friends of Field and Study from Olievenhoutbosch to the Field and Study Park in Sandton to enjoy an easy and fun-filled lunch in the park.

Putting their physical frailties aside they spent the afternoon eating, with food donated by Pick n Pay and the River Café, and sang to celebrate the closing of 2014.

Chairperson of Friend of Field and Study, Rose Johnson said, “Although most were frail with walkers and wheelchairs, they sat under the trees and enjoyed the space and fresh air. A treat in itself.”
