UPDATE: Mother wants justice for her assaulted son
SANDTON - The mother of a boy (16) who was unconscious after he was allegedly punched by a group of boys, on a video published on the eblockwatch website and Facebook page, wants justice.

Bryanston resident Andre Snyman, who also runs the eblockwatch website, wants to help the woman in her plight for justice for her son.
She told the Sandton Chronicle that she opened a case with the Kempton Park police on 21 November and still has not heard anything from them. “This is why I am taking this matter to the media because the police are not doing anything,” she explained.
The incident as depicted in the video posted on the eblockwatch website and Facebook page, appears to indicate a case of bullying.
The boy appears to be in the centre of a circle of boys, he is then knocked out and falls to the ground. The boy’s mother said he was unconscious for about two hours and when he woke up he was disorientated and not sure where he was. “He sent me a message to tell me what happened and I organised that someone pick him up and take him to the hospital,” she explained.
The victim’s mother said she obtained the video clip from his son’s girlfriend, who found it on social media. “The boys took the video to brag about the incident and shared it with their friends,” said the mother.
She added that eight boys and a girl were part of her son’s assault. “One of the boys had been involved in five other cases of assault,” she said.
The mother explained that her son was apparently invited to a party and when he arrived, he was immediately surrounded and attacked. “I just want justice for my son,” said the boy’s mother. “My only concern now is that someone else’s boy might get seriously hurt. They have no remorse for what they have done and continue to threaten my son. I don’t even let him go to school.”
