The donation formed part of Redhill Schools Leavers’ Legacy Programme which marketing officer Nirvana Rogers said, “… is designed for Grade 7 pupils to leave behind something great for other Grade 7s to strive towards. This also enables them to leave a lasting impression of who they were and that they stood true to the strong ethos of caring for others.”
Rogers added, “The Grade 7 class of 2014 has collected enough money to sponsor Qhubeka bicycles to the top academic achievers at Babanago Village Primary School. The idea behind this initiative is to improve the quality of life for some of these disadvantaged children.”
