The residents were joined by other King David pupils, who wanted to support their fellow pupil, Daniel Rock, as he bravely faces cancer.

Early childhood educator Chana Rivka Lewin said community members came together at the Sandton Chabad ahead of the high holiday to celebrate with special meals and dance.

“Different neighbouring groups in Sandton, Rebetzin Raisy Hecht, the Chabad centre in Sandton and King David School class moms joined forces together with Daniel’s class friends at the Chabad Sandton Sukkah to show him support,” she said..
