BREAKING NEWS: Five years jail time for Oscar
JOBURG - Oscar Pistorius has been sentenced to five years imprisonment for Culpable Homicide, following the death of Reeva Steenkamp.
Judge Thokozile Masipa, handed down the sentence shortly before 10.30am this morning.
Pistorius has further been sentenced to three years imprisonment for the Tasha’s restaurant shooting, wholly suspended. The sentences will run concurrently.
The state and the defence now have 14 days to decide whether or not to appeal the sentence.
