Possible seizure leads to accident on William Nicol

BRYANSTON - A commuter suffered minor injuries in a collision with a street pole after allegedly suffering a seizure on the William Nicol Drive bridge in Bryanston on 21 October.

Joburg North Medix reported on their twitter page that the female driver had a seizure and collided with a pole on William Nicol.

Media liaison for Emer-G-Med Danielle Dolley said, “It is possible that the driver suffered a seizure resulting in her losing control of the vehicle and crashing into a street light on the William Nicol bridge.”

She added, “The patient sustained minor soft tissue injuries and was treated on scene before being transported to Fourways Life by EMER-G-MED paramedics.”
