Wendywood suspect pleads guilty
WYNBERG - One of the suspects arrested in Wendywood on 3 October by Sandton police pled guilty to the charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle at Wynberg Magistrates' Court on 6 October.
Arthur Moloele made the admission and was one of four suspects that were pulled over by the Johannesburg Flying Squad on Darwin Street in Wendywood. Spokesperson for the Sandton police Captain Kym Cloete said, “Upon investigation it was found that the vehicle, a white Corsa bakkie, was stolen during a burglary last month in the Primrose policing district.”
According to control prosecutor at the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court, Percy Ramushu, Moloele took full responsibility for the charge.
Moloele was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment with a five year suspended sentence on the condition that he is not charge with a similar offence.
