Almost time to show off your moustache for charity
SANDTON - It is almost time for Movember, a global charity initiative that aims to change the face of men’s health.

Manager of Movember South Africa, Garron Giselle, was at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium in Illovo to thank members of the national cricket team, the Proteas, and their new partners, Rolux, for endorsing the Movember campaign.
Every year during the month of November, men around the world grow their moustaches. With this, men raise funds and awareness of prostate and testicular cancer, as well as mental health.
Giselle expressed that he was pleased by all the support received towards raising awareness about men’s health and prostate cancer.
“In the 10 years of existence, the campaign has achieved a lot,” he added. Giselle explained that the number of men testing for prostate cancer had risen, research had been developed and programmes had been established.
“The campaign has encouraged a global discussion about prostate cancer,” added Giselle.
“We want to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health. We need to raise awareness.”
