Ster Kinekor celebrates women’s month with pampering session
SANDTON - As celebrations for Women’s Month continue, the cinema company, Ster Kinekor hosted their own women's month event to celebrate the occasion.
The cinema giant hosted a coffee and movie session at their Cinema Prestige, which saw a select few pampered and treated with delectable treats before watching a preview of The Hundred-Foot Journey. Those present were also pampered with a manicure session and offering of beauty products.
Donna Cooper, the film studio marketing manager at Ster Kinekor explained how the company planned to honour South African women during the month.
“Ster Kinekor will be showing new releases of movies which women and their friends can come and enjoy at our cinemas,” she said.
She added that the cinema felt it important to thank women for their contribution and celebrate their strength. Cooper added that the screenings would be held at their prestige cinemas across the country, including one in Sandton City, Rosebank Mall and The Grove Mall in Pretoria.
Additionally, she encouraged women to go out and treat themselves with some of their new releases at their exclusive cinemas with their friends.
“In honour of the month we want women to watch some of the exciting movies lined up, after all the best way to watch a movie is to do it with friends,” she said.
