Spa celebrates Women’s Day with high tea

According to the owner of the retreat, Martina Laurie the purpose of hosting the event was to commemorate the iconic role played by women in the country.

“In hosting this event, we want to celebrate the power that women have and commemorate the day as I think it’s a wonderful to have this special day commemorating women,” she said.

She added that in hosting the event, the spa was able to create an opportunity for women to meet others.

“I think it’s nice to create opportunities of this nature as women get to meet others of like-mind as them, and create networking opportunities for them,” she said.

Hands On Retreat was founded more than 12 years ago by Laurie.
