Two motorists shot at on Grayston Drive
SANDTON - Motorists are urged to take caution after two motorists were shot at on Grayston Drive on 5 August.

According to Captain Kym Cloete, spokesperson of the Sandton police, the two incidents took place about five minutes apart from each other.
“The first incident took place just after 3pm as the victim was about to off-ramp off Grayston Drive, when two men wearing balaclavas approached his car,” she said.
One of the men fired a shot at the driver’s window, at which point the victim accelerated and drove off. No injuries were reported according to Cloete and a case of attempted murder was opened at the police station.
In the second incident, a victim was approached by four men on Grayston Drive and had his passenger door shot at.
“The men took the victim’s car keys and a case before making off,” she said.
Cloete said a case of attempted hijacking was opened and the police were still investigating both incidents.
how many time must this happen before police can stay there and watch what’s happening????? what do ppl pay tax for????????
This is the time when the President should be taking charge of the country and show leadership. Criminals are running the country by holding the citizens at gun point and dictating how the justice system should deal with them
what are the flying squad that sit on that highway doing sleeping there asses off while people are been shot rite behind them , ja u have to bribe to get the job done. For me i will shot these bastards if police can”nt do there job . Can”nt they deploy police in that area oh i forgot police these days only respond hours after armed robberys but for a case of domestic volince within minutes at the right address .
shootings in broad daylight, no hope for SA as the crooks are taking over
I was one of the victims. The incident didn’t happen 5 mins apart. It happened at the same time. They tried to hijack my car and fired at the other motorist when he tried to get past them or it was a stray bullet that hit his car when they were firing at me. After about 4 statements, the police and press still get it wrong.
I hate that off ramp. yesterday one of the window washers waved to get our attention and showed us he wanted food. we ignored him. a delivery van driver started hooting and waved him away. I wouldn’t be surprised if these guys are part of the decoy to distract you with intention of hijacking you. they are a total nuisance and must be removed.
Can anyone provide the exact location, at which intersection did it happen ?
Was it under the bridge (Katherine and Grayston) ?
