Pampering the Aged on Mandela Day

PARKMORE - Residents of the Rose Haven Old Age Home in Hurlingham were treated to some pampering at Natural Expressions in Parkmore.

The total body wellness centre decided to use their 67 minutes on Mandela Day for community service.

Each of the residents received lunch as well as a free manicure, pedicure and a shoulder massage.

The sessions were performed by fully qualified therapists from the centre. “We wanted to give the residents a different environment,” said Debbie Househam, co-owner of the centre.

One of the residents, Peggy Garrat said she was delighted to get out of the home and spend the day outside.
