Biker killed in highway hit and run
RIVONIA - A biker was killed in the late evening of 17 July after he was hit by a car in an apparent hit and run
The accident took place on the N1 South near the Rivonia off-ramp.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the lifeless body of the biker lying in the fast lane.
“Unfortunately the biker had been dismembered after he was hit at high speed. Metro police had to close the highway for an hour for paramedics to clear the scene,” said ER24’s Russel Meiring.
The driver of the vehicle had fled the scene of the accident.

I really hope to never encounter something like this – but I hope the person who hit the biker turns him/herself in – In a moment of shock or fear they bailed – and it seems they could not have helped the biker anyway – but Karma knows no time limits and knows how to find you.
