Man beaten-up for car keys in Marlboro

SANDTON - A man received a beating after he refused to give two suspects his car keys in Marlboro.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Bramley police said the two suspects entered the man’s home and demanded his car keys.

“When the man refused, the suspects violently beat the man using their fists,” explained Maphakela. “The man sustained injuries on his upper right eye,” he added.

Maphakela said the two suspects only left the man’s house after they heard someone enter the house.

The man has opened a case of common assault at the Bramley Police Station. No arrests have been made.
