ILLOVO - Number plates were stolen from a white Ford Fiesta in Illovo.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley Police said the complainant had parked his car at the corner of Rudd Road and Corlett Drive when the incident occurred.

“He alleged that before he left his car, after parking it, he made sure that everything was in order,” said Maphakela.

He said the complainant reported that his doors were locked and his windows were closed before he left his car. However, when he returned he found that his number plates in the front and the back of his vehicle were missing.

Maphakela said the vehicle was not damaged.

No arrests have been made.
