A suspect has been arrested and charged with armed robbery.
According to the complainant, she was in her car at the intersection of Mattie Avenue and William Nicol Drive in Parkmore when a man approached her, pointing a firearm. He demanded her cellphone and wallet.
The suspect was later arrested by the Sandton detective field team and detained in the Sandton Police Station cells .
