Blue light escort injured in Sandton accident
SANDTON - A Metro police officer has been injured in an accident at the intersection of Sandton Drive and William Nicol Drive.
Witnesses on the scene claimed that the officer was part of a blue light escort for a member of parliament.
The motorcycle, one of three escorting a white Mercedes Benz, collided with the Mercedes Benz when turning the corner.
The officer has reportedly been transported to the Milpark Hospital where he will receive treatment for bruising.
