A celebration of art
HYDE PARK - Art lovers can satisfy their desire for great art at the Rotary Art Festival taking place at Hyde Park Corner on 22 May.

The festival opens at 6pm, and 50 selected artists will be showing everything from oils to charcoals, water colours to prints. Special groups on show include life drawing, portraits, landscapes, botanicals/florals, printmakers, miniatures and photography.
This celebration of art will last for 10 days until 1 June. It promises to be bigger and better than the exhibition that ran in 2012 which hosted over 700 guests on opening night and was extremely well attended by art lovers, art collectors and galleries looking for new talent.
The preview will take place between 1pm and 4pm should anyone want be first to see what will be featured. The Rotary Club of Rosebank will get 30 percent of all the art sales, and the money raised will help fund some of the community projects which the Rotarians are running. These include the annual Senior Youth Leadership Course and the Dependable Strengths Training Courses for the unemployed.
