Thieves threaten domestic worker
ATHOLL - A woman alleged that she was robbed at gunpoint on Athol Road in Atholl.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley police said the woman was apparently on her way to work when she was approached by three men.
Maphakela said, “She was walking along Athol Road towards South Avenue and the three men were walking in the same direction that she was headed. One of them slowed down and she passed him, and the other two continued walking in front of her. Then another one of the suspects slowed down and the other one continued walking in front of her. The suspect behind her produced a black firearm and pointed it at her.”
Maphakela said the suspect spoke in isiZulu and demanded that the woman give him her cellphone. “She then took out her black Huawei cellphone valued at R500 and gave it to the suspect,” said Maphakela.
