School honours pupil for excellence

WENDYWOOD - Wendywood High School presented one of their pupils with a blazer for excellence.

Aarifah Makda (17) is one of only four recipients to have received a white honours blazer. Pupils honoured with a white blazer have to have achieved the highest standard of excellence in three different fields.

Makda achieved her highest standard of excellence in academics, public speaking and leadership as the head girl of the school. “I’m honoured to be one of the few pupils to receive this blazer,” she said.
