Mail missing after post office relocates
SANDTON - Some Sandton City Post Office users are missing their mail and are unable to retrieve post from the previous three weeks after the post office closed for renovations.

Temporary offices for Sandton Post Office were set in the parking area on Level 3 of Sandton City, off Sandton Drive.
According to Aldean Prior, when she found the temporary boxes, her box only contained one week’s mail.
“I was expecting it to be full after three weeks. I have no idea how to get my missing mail from the two weeks when it was sent to Bramley,” said Prior. When asked about the missing mail, spokesperson for South African Post Office Sandton division, Malusi Fuphe, said “The post boxes have been moved to the same location and all mail services are operating normally.”
“The South African Post Office apologised for any inconvenience caused by these arrangements, which were necessitated by the expansion of the mall,” he commented.
Johan Kruger, spokesperson for the South African Post Office, said a backlog had been experienced, but that deliveries are now up to date.
