Saints to host 31st festival

PETER PLACE - St Stithians College will host its 31st annual Easter sports festival over the Easter weekend.

The festival focuses on varied family orientated activities where visitors can attend sports matches and enjoy the hospitality tent, a children’s play area, and a pavilion with food and wines.

Squash and basketball will be played at the festival for the first time alongside the usual sports of rugby, hockey, netball and tennis.

St Stithians is the oldest schoolboy rugby festival in the country. The school will also continue its tradition of sponsoring school teams from disadvantaged areas. Secure parking is available on the property and alcohol may not be bought onto the grounds.

The festival takes place on 17, 19 and 21 April at St Stithians College, Lyme Park, Sandton
