SPCA appeals for wool

SANDTON - It's that time of year again where the chilly weather begins.

The Sandton SPCA would like to appeal to all its supporters to assist them by providing wool for the knitting of blankets and jerseys for its dogs.

Val Stewart, a long time Sandton SPCA supporter and dog jersey knitter extraordinaire has been knitting blankets and jerseys for the four legged residents for more than 15 years using donations of wool from the community.

If you are able to donate wool to help make the Sandton SPCA animals’ winter that little bit more cosy, you can deliver it to the Sandton SPCA.
