Amcu march to cause traffic disruptions

Amcu members will be marching to Impala Platinum’s offices on Fricker Road to hand over a memorandum.

According to the metro police spokesperson, Wayne Minnaar, the march is set to begin at the corners of Hume Street and Northumberland Street in Dunkeld West at 11am.

It would proceed up Jan Smuts Avenue, through Bompas Road, and then up Fricker Road where a memorandum will be handed over.

“The march will return along the same route. Motorists are urged to use Oxford Road as an alternative route between 11am to 2pm,” said Minnaar.

An update with details of the memorandum will follow later.
