Water cuts hit Alexandra and Sandton
JOBURG - Joburg Water has announced that planned water interruptions have been implemented in suburbs across the city including Alexandra and Sandton.
Joburg Water has announced that planned water interruptions have been implemented in suburbs across the city including Alexandra and Sandton.
The whole of Sandton and Alexandra are affected and will be without water as of today (11 March) and will only be restored at around 3:30pm. The shutdown is said to have been necessitated by an infrastructure upgrade.
The organisation has apologised to residents of both Alexandra and Sandton for the inconvenience and promised to have the interruption resolved as soon as possible.
