Ben Kelly named Brain of 702 winner

SANDTON - Weltevreden Park resident Ben Kelly was named the Brain of 702 at Sandton City.

The Brain of 702 is a general knowledge competition held on radio. Contestants called in and answered a set of preliminary questions. If they won a round they would compete against another contestant the following week.

Finalists were invited to Sandton City where resident quizmaster of 702, Bruce Whitfield put each contestant through an intense 90 seconds of rapid fire questions to establish who could answer the most questions correctly.

Kelly came out on top to take the title. His family and friends were there to join the celebrations as he took home R15 000 courtesy of Dis-Chem pharmacies.

Kelly will join the Brain of CapeTalk radio, Cobus Roberts on 4 March for a live battle on the stations’ breakfast shows to decide the overall Brain of Brains.
