The primary school has been named Sandhurst Preparatory and will run alongside Stepping Stones pre-primary.
In mid-2013 Stepping Stones’ headmistress of 15 years, Margot van Ryneveld applied to the Gauteng Department of Education to register the school to enter the primary phase of education.
The registration was approved and the school went ahead with marketing Sandhurst Preparatory to their school community and to feeder government schools.
In no time at all they had parents calling and coming to view the school.
They envision a slow evolution of the well-known and highly respected pre-school into a blended, quality environment where pre-schoolers and primary school pupils will be nurtured and educated in a ‘boutique-style’ school environment. They are encouraging all parents that have found school doors closed to them
to contact them as soon as possible to book their child a place in this very unique school environment.
The preparatory school has currently 12 pupils enrolled for its inaugural Grade 1 class and has limited number of spaces available for additional pupils.
