City holds rates workshop
ALEXANDRA - City of Johannesburg to hold rates meetings for Region E.
The City of Johannesburg will hold a Region E rates policy review meeting at the Altrek Stadium in Alexandra on 6 February.
The aim of the workshop is to determine the categories of properties, which will then be rated according to a certain tariff to be announced at the workshop.
Ratepayers and interested parties are invited to get involved in the drafting and determining of the 2014/15 rates policy.
Another meeting will be held at Ernest Ullman Park Recreation Centre in Gallo Manor on 11 February and both meetings will start at 6pm.
