Property stolen from a house in Strathavon

A WOMAN left her bedroom window open and later discovered that some of her property had been stolen.

Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley police said the woman found the window bars had been broken after her security company informed her that the alarm went off. “She discovered that her phone was missing, three iPads were stolen, a wrist watch, a DVD player, a handbag and a travelling bag was taken,” added Maphakela.

No arrests have been made. “People need to tighten their security and ensure that their doors and windows are secured,” said Maphakela.
