Cutest Pet is hotting up

This publication has been inundated with entries and many pets are already racking up the votes. Contestants have their eyes firmly set on the awesome prize.

Our current front runner is Tesi, with 11 votes. Tesi was found abandoned on a very busy road in Sandringham with her brother when she was only a tiny puppy, and has grown in to a loving adult dog.

Tesi is closely followed by the beautiful Q, with eight votes and Puma with six votes.

You can still enter your pet for January’s competition.

Submit photos of your furry, fuzzy, feathery or even scaled friends and stand the chance of winning an awesome one-hour photo shoot for you and your pet.

Email your photos along with a paragraph or two about your pet and what makes him/her special to sc@caxton.co.za with the subject line ‘Sandton’s Cutest Pet’, or upload the photos directly onto our Facebook page, looklocal Sandton. We will move the photos into a gallery and all that is left to do is vote.

Your family and friends can vote by liking the looklocal Sandton Facebook page and then liking the photo of your pet. The pet with the most likes at the end of each month will be declared that month’s Cutest Pet.

The monthly prize comprises a one-hour photo shoot with Ashleigh K Photography at her studio, your home or a local park. You will receive 30 images on a CD, as well as one A3 print. There will also be a grand prize up for grabs at the end of the year for Sandton’s Cutest Pet 2014.

Please note that submitted photos must be no smaller than 1MB and should be submitted as JPEG attachments. Entries for Sandton’s Cutest Pet January will close on 24 January and voting will close at 1pm on 31 January.
