The suspect was arrested in the morning in Alexandra. He was nabbed by the Sandton police’s Detective Field Team for burglary, house robbery, hijacking and attempted murder.
“The suspect was found in possession of a white A170 Mercedes Benz which was linked to another burglary in Rosebank,” said Cloete. She also said that the police recovered jewellery during a search at his place of residence.
He has since been detained at the Sandton Police Station.
