Getting ready for the Dusi

With only six weeks to go before the worlds toughest endurance canoeing event, the Dusi, which takes place in mid-February, canoeists will kick off the new year with serious training.

The 2013 canoeing year finished up with a Dusi training race on 8 December.

Mid January will see a tough two-day Dusi seeding race that will take place on the Jukskei River from the Heron Bridge School/ Lanseria airport area towards Hartbeespoort dam. This race attracts some of South Africa’ top paddlers.
