BRYANSTON – Residents took their children to the annual puppet show at the Bryanston Library on 4 December. The children were thrilled to meet Scooby and his puppeteer, Ann Parker. They delighted the children with songs and games, and the young audience enjoyed an imaginary trip to the sea. Friends of Bryanston Library and Knights of Da Gama in Bryanston organised the funds for the puppet show. Juliet Manning, Friends of Bryanston Library chairperson, said their organisation arranges the funds for the puppet show each year. “We also help the library raise funds through a monthly book sale,” she said. Manning added that the next book sale at the library is set to take place in February.
