Wanted suspect arrested by Sandton detectives

On the night of 19 November a suspect was arrested at Clay Oven, just off Witkoppen Road.

“This suspect is wanted based on forensic evidence recovered from burglaries in the Sunninghill area,” said spokesperson of the Sandton police, Captain Kym Cloete.

Sandton detectives had been following up information and this led to an arrest.

The arrest was enforced by reservist Constable Oliver Stollarz and reservist Constable Ajay Löffler of the Sandton police’s Tracing Unit.

The suspect is a 39-year-old man and he appeared in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court on 23 November on charges of residential burglary.
