Bryanston High pupil is no karate chop

Robin Gast, a Grade 10 pupil of Bryanston High School certainly packs a punch.

He has returned from Liverpool where he participated as part of the SA National team in the World Shotokan Karate Championships. He ranked 7th for individual kata and his unison kata team of three members ranked 6th. There were 803 participants from 22 countries.

Since joining the Bryanston High family, Gast has had an impressive track record, winning two gold, three silver and two bronze medals and receiving provincial and national colours every year from grades 8-10. He epitomises the True Blue spirit with dedication and hard work, achieving these astounding results.
