Bead it for Brescia

Brescia House School, in the spirit of Lead SA, has initiated a proudly South African income producing project with street bead artists, Arnold Mbalule and Ta Wanda, using a unique part of the school's uniform – their hats.

The school challenges all other proudly South African schools to come up with a project of their own and help a street vendor in their neighbouring communities earn a sustainable income.

Mbalule’s and Wanda’s beaded Brescia hats are being used by the school as unique awards, marketing gifts, toys — the small hats fit Barbie and Bratt dolls — and key rings.
