Walk a mile in my shoes

Bryanston High School matriculants may be nearing the end of five happy years of high schooling, but they showed that education is not only about books, but about learning to care for those less fortunate.

At the end of the Valedictory service, every matriculant donated their school shoes to the All Nations Ministry, a mission supporting 200 pastors who oversee the needs of orphans and child-headed households in Johannesburg.

Bryanston High School teacher Teresa Cook is pictured here with some of the Grade 11 pupils who collected the shoes and had them delivered to the mission.
